Summary: No idea where all of those "10/10" reviews come from. This place is a 2 at best. This is your stereotypical cheap FL motel that you see in the movies, and the people staying there were a reflection of that. Loud, dirty, careless, inconsiderate. Screaming kids with no supervision, loud phone conversations outside so everyone can hear your drama, working on vehicles in the parking lot, playing music outside until 1-2am on a weeknight, almost every room had a makeshift table for smoking and drinking outside the door. But those are the people, and I'm just setting the scene for the motel review...This place is trash, but they're very proud of their trash. The first thing I noticed was a sign at the check-in desk saying not to put the towels and washcloths on the floor because they'll get dirty and you'll be charged an extra cleaning fee... Um, the only way they're getting dirty is if the floors aren't clean. Once I got in the room, I saw that they definitely were not. Especially in the bathroom. Floors were visibly dirty, and even had somebody's buttcrack-rolled toilet paper on the floor. And those towels they're so protective of are see-through, and the washcloths literally had holes worn in them. Most uncomfortable mattress I've ever laid on. I stacked the two together to try to get some relief. Not sure if it worked, but I went with it. Clothes rack was rusted and corroded. Poorly repaired holes in the wall. Coffee creamer packets so old they were solid like hard candy.
