This house is close to everything. It's .6 mile (11min walk) to South Congress Avenue (SoCo) Austin's hippest area for shops, restaurants, bars and live music (See montage of our favorite spots in the photos). From SoCo, grab a B-Bike ( for easy access to Zilker Park--location of ACL) or for a 12-mile ride around Lady Bird Lake. You may also find one of the many dockless bikes in our neighborhood or on SoCo. ( Or we can arrange to have bicycles delivered here and waiting for you.) We are also just .8 miles from 2 CapMetro bus stops on Congress Avenue with easy access Zilker Park (ACL Fest) and Downtown Austin (F1 Shuttles & New Years celebrations). We are just a 20 minute drive to the Circuit of Americas F1 track, and VERY short RideShare ride to any of the cool spots Austin has to offer. Two of our recent guests walked to the Austin Convention Center downtown every morning via the LadyBird Lake Hike and Bike Trail. If you haven't guessed by now, this place is mucho convenient.
We have two king size beds and one Queen, (plus a futon couch and an airbed), two soaking bathtubs and a exterior hot tub and fire pit, natural gas grill AND a Big Green Egg, plus a Thermador gas cooktop and a double oven. We have Spectrum WiFi and TV, Apple TV and Blue Ray DVD Player, plus an Amazon Echo; so, you ask Alexa for music, movie times, the weather or the square root of our address. Big Stacy neighborhood pool is 1/2 mile away for FREE year-round lap swimming (it's naturally heated).
We live in the house and take your rental as an opportunity to have our own adventure. YOU WILL HAVE THE WHOLE HOUSE TO YOURSELVES. Since we live here when you don't, YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUY OLIVE OIL. :) . We have everything you need to cook except your main ingredients and we even supply milk, OJ, coffee, bacon and eggs for your first breakfast. We treat our rental clients as members of our family. You are not our clients you are our guests.
