This lake cottage, known as the Birches, offers the character of a vintage mountain retreat and the comfort of a modern family home. Nestled in an area known as “The Park,” this home is situated in a private cul-de-sac with green space and adjacent conversancy walking trails. Within short walking distance, one can access the private Eagles Mere Lake Association facilities (0.3 miles) and town center (1.2 miles).
Built in 1901, the original structure of the home has a large stone fireplace, family gathering spaces, and three bedrooms with two sleeping porches. A newer addition provides a large eat in kitchen, family room with television, kids bunk room and bathroom, and a first floor master suite. Also included in with the home is access to both the Eagles Mere Lake Association facilities and the Eagles Mere Country Club (guest fees apply to each).
