Ruby’s Lake Retreat - our newly remodeled vacation home located right on Thunderbird Lake in the sought after 8 Lakes neighborhood invites you to spend a dream vacation in Southwest Florida. Enjoy unique lake views from nearly every room and the outdoor area, the open floor plan of the house, the large bedrooms and living area and the screened in, spacious lanai with a heatable pool.
And if you feel like taking a boat out to the Gulf of Mexico - no problem! The gulf is only 15 minutes away.
Walk in and enjoy the brightness of the open floor plan and the unobstructed lake views from most rooms of the house! We designed everything with your perfect vacation in mind and hope you'll enjoy your stay in our house.
Our beach-house themed 3 bedroom lake villa is equipped with everything you need for a perfect vacation in Cape Coral.
Once you enter Ruby's Lake Retreat, you are greeted by light-flooded rooms. The open living/dining room floor plan and the fully equipped kitchen leave nothing to be desired. From KitchenAid to Ninja Foodi blender, passionate cooks will find everything they need to create the perfect meal.
The living room features two cozy couches and a large flatscreen TV. And if you don't feel like watching TV we provide some board games for a fun evening of playing games. Or snuggle up in our comfy reading corner and indulge in some good books.
We hope you spend the days at our house not worrying about work but if you do have to work while staying at Ruby's Lake Retreat - don't worry! A little office space with monitor, keyboard and mouse is there if you need it.
After a long day of sunbathing or exploring Florida get ready to get a good night's sleep in one of our large bedrooms. The first master bedroom has a separate en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and a double sink. The bedroom also offers direct access to the pool deck and lake views.
The second master bedroom is equipped with a king bed, too and also offers stunning lake views. The third bedroom is furnished with two twin beds. The second and third bedroom share a separate bathroom, which features another walk-in shower. All bedrooms are equipped with flatscreen TVs and plenty of closet space.
Let's start the new day at the pool! Take a swim in our heatable pool or just relax on one of the lounge chairs. And as the day comes to an end the 6-burner gas grill and large outdoor dining area will make sure you’ll enjoy your dinners with an exceptional view over Thunderbird Lake.
One of the highlights of Ruby’s Lake Retreat is another outdoor seating area including a firepit right by the lake. That's the perfect spot for a sundowner. Sit and relax, finish off the day here and - if you're lucky - watch some manatees swim by.
Ruby's Lake Retreat is located in the quiet and safe 8 Lakes neighborhood. From here, the Tarpon Point Marina, Cape Harbor and several bars and restaurants are just a short drive or bike ride away. Head down to Cape Harbor, listen to live music or indulge in a delicious dinner at one of the restaurants. Or spend an evening at Duffy's Sports Bar and watch your favorite NFL team play. Feel like taking a walk through nature? Head to our neighborhood Rotary Park and stroll around the nature trails. Cape Coral Beach is also just a 10 minute drive away.
