The Martin Retreat is a fully furnished country home situated at the end of a long tree lined lane on 27 acres. Built in the 70's, this remodeled brick home with 3 car garage and attached indoor pavilion has everything you need for your vacation.
Main floor includes a large newly remodeled kitchen with new appliances, coffee bar, and cooking utensils. Dining table comfortably seats18. Living room has a fireplace, sectional sofa bed, 2 recliners and 2 sets of sliding glass doors leading to patio. Laundry has full sized washer and dryer, iron, ironing board and backdoor leading to clothes line. Master bedroom has attached bath and sitting room/nursery with glass doors exiting to patio and hot tub. 2 additional bedrooms, one with queen sized bed and another with a double bed and another full bath are also on this floor.
Basement has large recreational room with pool table, table tennis, board games and books. 4 futons, 1 twin bunk bed and a twin over full bunkbed provide additional sleeping space. One bathroom has been added on this level for the main room. Another large country themed bedroom with its own bathroom, and another futon and fireplace are on the basement level.
Attached indoor pavilion is 25' x 50', has cathedral ceilings, glass doors and windows all around. One end has a kitchenette and closet with holds tables and chairs for 120 people. Perfect for scrapbooking or stamping retreats this pavilion includes lots of receptacles and is very well lit. Between the house and pavilion is another bathroom with walk-in shower. Glass doors lead to patio, fire pit, gazebo and backyard pond .
A walk outdoors can include the turkeys, deer, and other wildlife that frequent the property. The pond is home to turtles, fish and a great blue heron. A canoe is available for your use or you may choose to relax in the hammock in the back yard. A sandbox, basketball hoop and bikes provide outdoor entertainment as well. A quiet, peaceful retreat. Sorry, no wifi or tv. But it has excellent cell service. Feel free to bring your own hot spot or entertainment.
