Positive: I loved the location- the staff was friendly and helpful.

Negative: They just opened the hotel literally, no luggage carts, it was NYE so it was chaos- their systems were down and we didn’t check in technically for 24 hrs. They gave us the wrong room- and none of the keys worked for anyone- everyone was waiting in the hall for someone to open the door- then our door gets opened and it’s the wrong room. The internet in the bedroom did not work- so we could not use Netflix. The phone didn’t work- so I had to go downstairs instead of calling the front desk. The water in the bathroom left a black residue on my toothbrush- so clearly not for drinking. I understand it’s a new hotel- but didn’t realize that all the above would be an issue and they did not offer a discount or anything- we added a night and I had to ask them to match the rate for booking.com - I know other places would have comped the room or gave discounts. It’s conveniently next to my daughter’s house - debating on finding another hotel or giving them a 2nd try. Loved the Homes2 in another city. In addition the pool isn’t finished and the breakfast area didn’t have trays to bring things back to your room- I get coffee etc for my husband. My biggest issue was the lack of discount and no luggage carts.

Summary: It was a place to sleep for a few days- the correct room was nice.
