Positive: Really lovely farmhouse in a fabulous setting. We had the full use of the whole place which was mainly used as for weddings. Lots of space for the 10 of us (6 adults and 4 kids). We particularly liked the outside space for the kids to play in and for us to relax. Location is reasonable and took just 45 mins to get to the coast. Overall, we really liked the accommodation and will consider re-booking, particularly as Michael (who was doing some work at the premises) had stated that may of our suggestions would be implemented
Negative: The farmhouse is principally used for 1 night by wedding guests. As such it is not quite set up for people staying three nights (as we did) or longer. For example, there were no details for who to go to for advice, problems, extra towels etc. There was a sign stating that late check out would incur an extra charge (fair enough), but that it would be charged to the "couple" (I assume the wedding couple). It was also not clear when we booked that to get to the fifth bedroom one had to go outside the property. In addition there was no key to the nearest door in the actual farmhouse from the outside bedroom. We had to cross the gravel path (fortunately the weather was good) and go in the kitchen door. We would also have appreciated some comfy outside seating and possibly a BBQ. We also noted that the television setup was rather old and it was not possible to access I-Player or streaming apps such as Netflix.
Summary: Fabulous stay in a great location.
