Your perfect beach getaway is here! Our inviting beach condo can be enjoyed year-round and is located at The Spa on Port Royal Sound! Here you will find access to natural beaches with astonishing views, and additional amenities include the following: bike trails, tennis courts, an indoor pool with hot tub, workout area and sauna, as well as two additional outdoor pools! Our updated condo is only a short stroll to the sand and water as we are located within the second building closest to the condos beach access. Being a first-floor unit, loading and unloading your car(s) is a breeze. Enjoy our two very comfortable bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a fully loaded kitchen, designated laundry space with stacked washer and a delightful living area including a tranquil sunroom. (Need to sleep an extra person? We have a twin sized futon & extra bedding! Our “home away from home” is relaxing and inviting, we hope the memories you create here are just as memorable as your stay. Our suggestions for your time spent at the Spa on Port Royal Sound: Enjoy your mornings and days by the water! The natural beach setting is breathtaking! Sit on the resort swing and enjoy a cup of your morning Joe. Go for a walk and watch the sunrise. Explore tide pools and it’s surrounding wildlife; this beach is an absolute dream for birdwatchers, or you may even get to observe baby sea turtles or a family of dolphins! Shore fishing is permitted (with a fishing license.) Oh and for those that just want to take it easy, sun bathing and sand castle building are a must! During sunset you might get to watch the entertaining Pelicans dive for their dinner.
Take an afternoon for trip to the Hilton Head Brewery or next door winery! Both just about 2 miles from the condo!
While stunning, the sound area tends to be very shallow water and surf, so if you are craving beach swimming, we recommend going to one of the nearby public beaches like Folly Field (only 4 miles away).
Our condo has lots of glass and sharpe corners, we do not permit renting if you have a child under the age of 3.
Enjoy your evenings or a period of inclement weather sitting within the comfy living room and enjoy the Samsung flat screen television equipped with digital cable or pop in one of your favorite DVD’s for a movie night. Not a TV or movie person? Enjoy a good read out of variety of books kept on site. Prepare and cook a homecooked meal using the fully equipped kitchen. Or, if you so desire a bite out to eat, flip through one of the provided restaurant guides to help point you in the right direction. Summary: Overall, we thought the property was very fair for the price. This is a great property if you are on a budget. The property is nice and clean, it sleeps 5 comfortably w/ everyone having a bed but my youngest who slept on the large couch (not a pullout but they did have an extra air mattress)The property has a 24 hour security gate, two nice pools, and a short walk to the beach from the property. They also had everything you would need in the condo, including 4 beach chairs. The only issue we had, and why this place is so affordable is the beach. This is not a traditional beach. The beach at the property is a funky inlet cut off by a large sand bar....so there is water in the afternoon but no real waves. It's a great beach for families w/ young kids or couples who just want to sit and look out at the ocean.If you have teenagers like we do you will want to drive 15 minutes down the coat to the bigger public beaches, which we found to be no big deal at all in late September.
